In 2011 Fitzysnowman Studios was commissioned to create a 15 ton sand sculpture on Smugglers Beach by the town of Yarmouth Massachusetts. That same year we convinced six local businesses to purchase a sand sculpture in from of their businesses at a special rate. Thus the Cape Cod Sand Sculpting Trail was born.

The following year 36 additional businesses joined the sand sculpting. In fact the trail was so successful the previous year it attracted the attention of Cuffy's of Cape Cod who commissioned Fitzysnowman Studios to create his own 10 ton sand sculpture. 10 more sand sculptures would be added to Cuffy's locations all the way to Province town, officially making the Cape Cod Sand Sculpting Trail the longest trail of its kind in the world!

Eight years later, the sand sculpting trail is more popular than ever. It is estimated that over 45 million people have viewed our sand sculpting trail and those numbers continue to grow annually. We are looking forward to the years to come and creating more fantastic summer memories for everyone who visits Cape Cod.
