In 2011 Fitzysnowman Studios was commissioned to create a 15 ton sand sculpture on Smugglers Beach by the town of Yarmouth Massachusetts. That same year we convinced six local businesses to purchase a sand sculpture in from of their businesses at a special rate. Thus the Cape Cod Sand Sculpting Trail was born.

The following year 36 additional businesses joined the sand sculpting. In fact the trail was so successful the previous year it attracted the attention of Cuffy's of Cape Cod who commissioned Fitzysnowman Studios to create his own 10 ton sand sculpture. 10 more sand sculptures would be added to Cuffy's locations all the way to Province to
